International Shipping Policy

At Savvy Trade, we are committed to providing reliable and efficient international shipping solutions for our agricultural products. Our shipments are arranged according to the agreed commercial terms, destination requirements, product specifications, and applicable international regulations.

1. Shipping Methods

Depending on the product, destination, quantity, and customer requirements, shipments may be arranged by:

1. Sea Freight – FCL or LCL, where applicable.
2. Air Freight for suitable products and urgent shipments.
3. Refrigerated Containers (Reefer) for temperature-sensitive fresh and frozen products.
4. Other transportation solutions according to the agreed shipping arrangement.

2. Shipping Terms

International shipments are handled according to the Incoterms® 2020 agreed upon between Savvy Trade and the buyer, such as FOB, CFR, CIF, or other applicable terms.

The responsibilities for freight, insurance, customs clearance, duties, taxes, and delivery costs depend on the agreed Incoterm.

3. Shipping Schedule

Shipping dates and estimated transit times depend on product availability, vessel or airline schedules, destination, port conditions, customs procedures, and other circumstances beyond our control.

Savvy Trade will provide the buyer with the available shipping details and relevant documentation according to the agreed transaction.

4. Export Documentation

Depending on the destination and product, Savvy Trade may provide the required export and shipping documents, including:

1. Commercial Invoice
2. Packing List
3. Certificate of Origin
4. Bill of Lading or Air Waybill
5. Phytosanitary Certificate, when applicable
6. Health or other required certificates, when applicable
7. Other documents required by the destination country or agreed with the buyer

5. Customs and Import Requirements

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the products comply with the import requirements, regulations, licenses, duties, taxes, and customs procedures applicable in the destination country, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Savvy Trade will provide the required documents and information available from the exporter according to the agreed terms.

6. Fresh and Frozen Products

Fresh and frozen products are shipped according to their required handling and temperature conditions. Appropriate packaging, storage, and refrigerated transportation may be used when required.

Transit times and product condition may be affected by customs inspections, port delays, weather conditions, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond Savvy Trade's control.

7. Delays and Force Majeure

Savvy Trade is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including port congestion, vessel delays, customs procedures, strikes, weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate any significant shipping delays to the buyer.

8. Inspection and Quality

Products are prepared and shipped according to the agreed specifications, quality requirements, packaging standards, and applicable regulations.

Where an inspection or third-party quality certificate is agreed upon, the applicable inspection procedures and responsibilities will be determined before shipment.

9. Buyer Responsibilities

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate consignee, destination, product, and import information and for ensuring compliance with the regulations of the destination country.

Any additional costs resulting from incorrect information, delayed documentation, customs issues, or failure to meet destination-country requirements may be charged to the responsible party according to the agreed commercial terms.
